THE GOVERNMENT IS WATCHING YOU, AND TURNING A BLIND EYE TO CORPORATIONS THAT SIMPLY EXIST FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE IN A CAPITALIST SOCIETY *COUGH, COUGH, VOMIT, COUGH* IN WHICH THEY IGNORE THE LAWS OF GOVERNING DYNAMICS, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY DON'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK ABOUT THE WETLANDS, THE GULF COAST, OR NEW ORLEANS. SO FUCK YOU CAPITOL HILL, GO STICK YOUR HEADS UP YOUR OWN ASS AND YOU'LL PROBABLY LEARN MORE THAN YOU DID IN YOUR IVY LEAGUE GRADUATE PROGRAMS AND REALIZE THAT YOU HAVE SOLD OUT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO THE AMERICAN CITIZENS AND ARE OWNED BY COMPANIES. YOU DO NOT TREAT EVERYONE EQUALLY, YOU DO NOT UPHOLD THE ETHICS IN WHICH YOU'VE BEEN SWORN INTO, AND SELL OUT LIKE A BUNCH OF WHORES. FUCK THE BIPARTISAN SYSTEM, FUCK BIG CORPORATIONS, FUCK AMERICAN IGNORANCE. GET OFF YOU'RE ASS, WE'RE NEW ORLEANS MOTHERFUCKERS, ONE OF THE ONLY CITIES IN THIS COUNTRY THAT STILL MANAGES TO MAINTAIN A LITTLE BIT OF CULTURE AND AN IDIOSYNCRATIC ATTITUDE, WHILE THE REST OF THE COUNTRY IS A FUCKING CAPITALIST WASTELAND OF HIGHWAYS, FAST FOOD, WALMARTS, AND PARKING LOTS. SO TO ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS I SAY, GO FUCK YOURSELVES!!!!! TO EVERYONE IN MY GENERATION AND THE OTHERS THAT ARE UPCOMING WE CAN NOT ALLOW THIS PERPETUAL CYCLE OF IGNORANCE TO EXIST. WE MUST BE OPEN-MINDED, EDUCATED, AND WORK OUR ASSES OFF TO MAKE UP FOR ALL OF THE ATROCITIES THAT EVERY GENERATION SINCE WORLD WAR II HAS CAUSED. WE'VE INHERITED ONE FUCKED UP COUNTRY BUT WE CAN MAKE AMERICA A GREAT PLACE AGAIN, BUT AS SAID, WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO BE MORE OPEN MINDED, VALUE THINGS OTHER THAN MONEY, TRULY LISTEN TO AND ACKNOWLEDGE PEOPLE THAT HOLD DIFFERENT OPINIONS AND PERSPECTIVES FROM OURSELVES, AND USE OUR VAST RESOURCES AND INFLUENCE TO IMPROVE OURSELVES, OUR NATION, AND OUR INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS. WE ARE ALL PEOPLE, WE ARE ALL ORGANISMS THAT ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO ENJOY THE LUXURIES THAT MOTHER NATURE HAS GIVEN US. WE ARE NOT THE HIGHEST POWER, WE DO NOT RULE THE WORLD, AND "RULING THE WORLD" IS POINTLESS. WE MUST COLLABORATE AS A GLOBAL SOCIETY TO RIGHT THE WRONGS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE PAST 10,000 YEARS. I WISH THE BEST FOR YOU, YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS, COUNTRY, AND WORLD. WE CAN DO THIS. NEVER GIVE UP WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.
TO COUNTRIES THAT ARE NOT AMERICA, I ADMIRE YOUR STYLE AND INTELLIGENCE. THE EUROPEAN UNION HAS ACTUALLY ACCEPTED THE FACT THAT IF WE DO NOT CHANGE THE WAYS IN WHICH WE PRODUCE AND USE ENERGY THE GLOBAL TEMPERATURE WILL ELEVATE BY 2 DEGREES CELSIUS BY 2050 AND 3 DEGREES CELSIUS BY 2100. A GLOBAL RISE IN TEMPERATURE OF 3 DEGREES IN CONSIDERED TO BE AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER BEYOND ANY PROPORTION THAT WE CAN FATHOM. 75% OF WILDLIFE WILL DIE, AND THE SEA LEVEL WILL RISE BY 80 FEET. I THANK YOU FOR ACKNOWLEDGING THIS AND INVESTING IN SOLUTIONS.
TO CHINA AND INDIA: BOTH OF YOUR COUNTRIES CONTAIN A HUGE AMOUNT OF DIFFERENT CULTURES THAT HAVE DEVELOPED AMAZING THINGS. YOUR IDEOLOGIES AND WAYS OF LIFE SEEM TO BE MUCH MORE SUPERIOR TO THOSE OF THE WEST. HOWEVER, YOU ARE ACTING LIKE WESTERNERS BY IGNORING YOUR FUNDAMENTAL IDEOLOGIES IN ORDER TO MAKE MONEY. YOU ARE DEVELOPING NATIONS, BUT YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW THE WORLD THAT A NATION CAN EVOLVE IN A POSITIVE AND AMAZING WAY. YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN INFLUENCE, POWER, QUALITY OF LIFE, ETC BY RESPONSIBLE DEVELOPMENT. ALSO, AS A SIDE NOTE TO CHINA, PLEASE END YOUR LUDICROUS CENSORSHIP LAWS AND ALLOW YOUR CITIZENS TO ACCESS WHATEVER INFORMATION THEY WANT AND ALLOW THEM TO SPEAK OPENLY ABOUT IT WITHOUT FEAR OF PROSECUTION. AS A COUNTRY YOU HAVE MADE AMAZING STRIDES, AND IT IS TIME TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE; ALLOW FREE SPEECH.
PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL OF THE WORLD,

IGNORANT ART
In order to occupy my time, make some art, and take some sort of abstract political stance (which is the only kind of political stance I plan to ever take), I am mass producing "Ignorant Art" to be placed in the mail boxes of Orleans Parish residents as a gift from their local, state, and federal governments. I plan to make over 2,000 original works, and place over 8,000 pieces. I am looking for some help in this to expedite the process, and ignorant art is very easy to make. If interested please contact me for more info at: scottmwarner315@gmail.com. Ignorant art pieces should be no bigger than 4x6" and no smaller than 3x3" (think postcard size). I will post some pictures of ignorant art to the right of this article.

RAPE ME, AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN
American idealism, and the founding principles of this nation fail to exist within the borders of the United States. There are a few select cities (New York, San Francisco, New Orleans, Miami, etc) that seem to struggle to hold onto what I believe are the true American values, but for the most part all of the towns across America have ironically been consumed by communism through capitalism. I am viewing this from a design and architectural standpoint since th0se are the areas in which I am passionate and relatively well versed in my opinion.
Allow me to explain: a capitalist system encourages creation at the lowest cost possible. By spending the least amount of money on design, large corporations have effectively prefabricated structures in order to save MONEY (the root of a capitalist society). However by doing this, present day America has more communist architecture than a "communist" country like China. In essence, the best way to perpetuate a business in a capitalistic society is to enforce mass production and duplication upon the design world in order to save money. This is a ridiculous and absurd paradox in itself that defies the freedom and individuality of America, yet because of MONEY, from a design perspective we live in a communist society. Drive through any town and all McDonald's, Barnes & Nobles, Borders, Walmarts, K-marts etc look and operate in the exact same manner in every locale. From a design perspective it is almost impossible to differentiate one American town from the next, and in this sense the majority of American Design is Communist design. I'm sure I have made comments similar to this before and hope to dedicate my life to change American design but at this time I feel it is extremely important to point out. Think about it as you drive down the streets of your town, and ask yourself "how exactly is my town architecturally distinctive from any other place in our nation?"

And the Devil wants to fuck me in the back of his car
I am feeling quite NOLA nostalgic right now. With the impending Superbowl (for the first time in my life I actually give a flying fuck about the NFL), Mardi Gras, and my 21st birthday I am greatly saddened by not being able to currently be in NOLA . It is true that the city is in complete decay and disarray, and that since Katrina not a single person has been involved in responsible rebuilding on a large scale (and at the current rate the city will experience another Katrina situation within the next 15 years). However, NOLA is and always will be my home and in the infamous words of the wise man of verse, Wayne Carter, "If I had one guess then I guess I'm just New Orleans." It feels incredibly bizarre to be missing out on Mardi Gras which is generally the most important event of the year in my mind; if I had a religion Mardi Gras would be my Hajj, Christmas, Trip to Israel, etc. New Orleans is indeed a holy land, a land that holds an undefinable spirit of celebration, freedom, expression, and acceptance that has been torn apart by corruption, a failing economy, lack of cultural evolution, and natural disaster.
However, I realize that in order to actually achieve my idealistic and ultimate dream of rebuilding the city in the right fashion requires that I must continue with my day to day monotony of school, work, and applications. If there is one thing that is truly amazing about the people of New Orleans it's that they do not judge and respect everyone's right to do what they want to do; in other words we mind our own fuckin' business and celebrate it. I greatly miss this,; even though living in NOLA often made me feel like I was stuck in a downward spiral of death, I at least had the power to exercise my sacred first amendment rights in their fullest without question or judgment.
Living in the heartland of America has it's benefits (primarily security and stability), but I see myself fitting in much better in European-American cities like New Orleans, New York, etc that allow anything and everything to happen and instead of biting people's heads off for rebellion rather embrace the glorious outcomes of insanity.
